UK man dies of caffeine overdose after taking capsules

Alfie Goddard, a UK resident with ADHD and schizophrenia, died of cardiac arrest on October 28, 2025, after overdosing on caffeine capsules. He was found walking deliriously near moving cars, vomiting blood. Essex Coroner ruled his death accidental, with toxicology showing caffeine levels "well within the fatality bracket."
