UK nurses begin unprecedented strike, demand better wages

Nurses in the UK began an unprecedented strike on Thursday, demanding better wages and working conditions. This is the first strike in the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) union's history of 106 years. The union said emergency and life-saving care wouldn't be affected. Around 1,00,000 members of the RCN are holding the one-day strike after rejecting the government's latest offer.
