UK plans midnight social media curfew for 16-17 year olds

The UK government is planning to introduce a default midnight curfew on social media apps for 16 and 17-year-olds. The teenagers would be blocked from using social media apps like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, between midnight and 6 am by default. The administration is also planning to disable features like auto-play and infinite scroll on such apps by default.
