UK PM Sunak pulls out of COP27 summit to focus on domestic issues

UK PM Rishi Sunak has pulled out of attending the COP27 climate summit which begins in Egypt next month to focus on domestic issues, his office said. The UK will be represented by other senior ministers and COP26 President Alok Sharma, it added. The opposition Labour Party criticised Sunak's decision to skip the climate summit, calling it a "big mistake".
