UK releases statement after Iran fires missiles at US-UK base in Indian Ocean

UK's Defence Ministry reacted after Iran fired ballistic missiles at US-UK's military base in Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. "Iran's reckless attacks, lashing out across the region and holding hostage the Strait of Hormuz, are a threat to British interests and allies...Government has given permission to US to use British bases for specific and limited defensive operations," it stated.
