UK's 1st charter flight to evacuate citizens from Middle East fails to take off

The UK government's first charter flight to bring back Britons stranded in the Middle East due to the US-Israeli war against Iran failed to take off from Oman on Wednesday. The plane, which was due to depart Muscat at 7 pm on Wednesday, was not able to take off due to "technical issues", the government said.
