UK Special Forces face criminal investigation over 'Afghanistan killings'
The UK's Special Air Service (SAS) could face criminal prosecution over alleged offences during detention operations in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013. Evidence uncovered by the SAS Inquiry was referred to military police earlier this year. The Defence Serious Crime Unit has completed a scoping exercise, but criminal investigation is paused until the public inquiry is completed.
