The United Kingdom has initiated the rollout of e-Visas to enhance its
security by digitising its border control and immigration process. With this plan
millions of visa holders in the UK will transition from physical immigration documents
to digital eVisas by 2025. E-Visas are pivotal as it minimizes the risks associated with
fraud, loss, and misuse of physical documents.
