Ukraine's population has declined by more than 1 crore since Russia invaded the country, sparking an exodus and sending birth rates plunging, UN said on Tuesday. Notably, Ukraine had one of the lowest birth rates in Europe even before war and it had seen a declining population as youth left in search of more opportunities, a UN official said.
