Ukraine urges EU to cut funding for Ukrainian refugees abroad

Ukraine is reportedly urging European Union (EU) to cut the funding for Ukrainians living in the bloc as a means of exerting pressure on them to return home. It is estimated that up to 10 million Ukrainians are currently residing abroad. In November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy set up Ministry of National Unity, tasking it with bringing citizens back home.
