Ukraine warns of risk of radiation leak after power cut at Chernobyl nuclear plant

Ukrainian nuclear company Energoatom has warned of radiation leak from the occupied Chernobyl nuclear power plant because it cannot cool spent nuclear fuel due to power cut. "The radioactive cloud could be carried by wind to other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Europe," it added. Ukraine has appealed to Russia for a temporary ceasefire to repair the power line.
