Ukraine's Mariupol on verge of humanitarian catastrophe: Mayor

The city of Mariupol in Ukraine which is under attack from Russian forces is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe, said its mayor on Monday. Mayor Vadym Boichenko said the city, in which about 1,60,000 civilians have been trapped without power, must be evacuated. He alleged that the Russians are not allowing safe passage to them.
