Ukrainian PM asks EU for more weapons, offers gas supplies

Ukrainian PM Denys Shmyhal on Monday urged the EU to provide Ukraine with more weapons in order to strengthen its capabilities in the ongoing war against Russia. Shmyhal further suggested that Ukraine could supply the gas that the EU needs to reduce its dependence on Russia. Notably, Russia last week indefinitely suspended gas supply to Europe through a key pipeline.
