UK's 21-year-old beauty queen seriously injured in car crash, suffers broken bones

Darcey Corria, the 21-year-old winner of Miss Wales 2022 title, was hospitalised after a car crash near Bridgend. She is being treated for a number of injuries including a broken pelvis and two breaks to bones in her neck. The accident will have an immediate impact on Darcey's preparation for Miss World in May, the Miss Wales competition said.
