UK’s largest mechanical puppet 'The Man Engine' on Tuesday began a 209-km journey across the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The puppet, which was unveiled during a 50-minute ceremony, is 39-feet high and weighs 40 tonnes. Its walk will mark the 10th anniversary of the Cornwall and West Devon mining landscape being added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
