Ulta chor kotwal ko daante: SEBI as Jane Street seeks data in market manipulation case

SEBI told the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) that US quantitative trading firm Jane Street was attempting to shift focus from the investigation into the ₹4,843-crore market manipulation case. "This is a case where ulta chor kotwal ko daante...They are trying to investigate the investigator," SEBI's lawyer said. Jane Street asked SAT to direct SEBI to share records supporting its allegations.
