UltraTech Cement expands production capacity by 1.2 MTPA

UltraTech Cement has increased its production capacity by 1.2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) through debottlenecking and efficiency improvements. The additions include 0.8 mtpa at Hirmi, Chhattisgarh, and 0.4 mtpa at Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The company’s total domestic cement manufacturing capacity is now 178.86 MTPA.
