UltraTech to buy Kesoram cement unit at ₹7,600-cr enterprise value

Aditya Birla Group's UltraTech Cement on Thursday announced that it will be acquiring Kesoram Industries' cement unit at a reported enterprise value of ₹7,600 crore. The transaction is expected to be consummated within nine to 12 months subject to regulatory approvals. Kesoram shareholders will get one share of UltraTech Cement for every 52 shares held by them.
