Uma Thurman recalls childhood police scare over red shoes

Actress Uma Thurman revealed on 'The Tonight Show' that at age 3-4, she sneaked out alone to buy red high-heeled shoes with 75 cents. The shopkeeper grew suspicious and called police. Unable to recall her street name, Thurman was placed in a police car, convinced she was being arrested. Her mother eventually identified her.
