Umar Khalid arrested in 2nd Delhi riots case, sent to 3-day custody

Former JNU student leader Umar Khalid has been arrested by the Crime Branch in connection with his alleged role in the northeast Delhi violence. He has reportedly been sent to three-day police custody for further investigation. Khalid was earlier arrested by the Delhi Police in September in a case related to the communal violence in northeast Delhi in February.
