Umar Khalid gets 7-day bail for sister's wedding after more than 2 years in jail

More than two years after his arrest, a Delhi court has granted interim bail to former JNU student Umar Khalid for attending his sister's marriage. He has been granted bail for a week from December 23 to 30. He is an accused in the larger conspiracy case of Delhi riots of 2020 and was recently discharged in another riot case.
