Cricketer Mahela Jayawardene has revealed that the ICC committee has recommended reducing the umpire’s call margin from 50% to 25% in the Decision Review System. Now, only 25% of the ball will be required to be hitting the stumps instead of the existing 50% for an LBW dismissal. Almost 80% decisions taken under current laws will be affected, Jayawardene said.
