UN asks world's billionaires to help 3 cr people at risk of starving to death

UN food chief David Beasley on Thursday called on the world's billionaires to help save around 3 crore people he said are at risk of dying if they don't receive help from the World Food Programme. "We need $4.9 billion to feed, for one year," Beasley said. Around 27 crore people are headed towards the brink of starvation, he added.
