UN demands end to violence as anti-govt protests kill 100 in Iraq

The UN has called for an end to the violence in Iraq after five days of anti-government rallies left nearly 100 people dead, mainly protestors. UN's top official in Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, described the violence as a "senseless loss of life" and said those behind it must be held accountable. Protestors are asking for employment and better services.
