India’s acclaimed director Satyajit Ray is among 16 global thinkers and artists, whose portraits have been showcased at an art exhibition titled “The Transformative Power of Art” in the United Nations (UN) headquarters. The thinkers have been recognized for their contributions towards good of humanity. Besides Ray, portraits of Joan Baez (US) and Audrey Hepburn (Britain) have also been displayed.
