UN mission in Lebanon refuses to leave despite Israeli requests

United Nations has refused to evacuate the observation posts of its Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) deployed on the Blue Line, demarcation between Lebanon and Israel that has become the main front in the fighting. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warned the UN that it cannot guarantee its troops' security in that area. India has around 900 troops in UNIFIL.
