UN releases statement on India after CJP leaders, protestors, politicians detained in Delhi

UN Human Rights on Saturday released a statement after Delhi Police crackdown against CJP's new Jantar Mantar protest, wherein CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke and other leaders, several politicians and protestors were detained. "We are concerned by reports of mass detentions...We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled," it said.
