UN seeks independent probe into deadly Kabul rehab strike

The United Nations has called for a swift, independent and transparent investigation after Afghanistan claimed a Pakistani strike on a Kabul drug rehabilitation clinic killed hundreds. UN rights office spokesman Thameen Al-Kheetan said those responsible must be held accountable under international law, adding that findings should be made public and victims and their families deserve reparations.
