Unacademy acquires TapChief in a deal valuing TapChief at ₹100 crore

Unacademy has acquired a majority stake in professional networking startup TapChief in a transaction that values TapChief at ₹100 crore. TapChief investors, including Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma, CRED's Kunal Shah and others, will be exiting TapChief and the entire team will join Unacademy. Founded in 2016 by BITS Pilani alumni, TapChief lets students and professionals interact with experts.
