Unacademy educator provokes students to pick up AK-47s; startup takes action

Bengaluru-based edtech startup Unacademy responded to the viral video that showed educator Varun Awasthi allegedly provoking students to pick up AK-47s. Unacademy reviewed the video published by him and found objectionable content in it, however, it was not made on Unacademy platform or any of the startup's YouTube channels. "We've taken appropriate action against the educator," Unacademy said.
