Unacademy raises $110 mn from investors including Facebook

Bengaluru-based edtech startup Unacademy has raised $110 million in Series E from Facebook, General Atlantic and Sequoia. The round also saw participation from Unacademy's existing investors Nexus, Steadview Capital and Blume Ventures. Founded in 2015 by Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini and Hemesh Singh, Unacademy helps students prepare for competitive exams and also allows them to watch live classes.
