'Uncle Roger' banned on Chinese social media after jokes on Taiwan
UK-based comedian Nigel Ng, popularly known as ‘Uncle Roger’, has been banned from Chinese social media platform Weibo after he published a video mocking China's policies on issues ranging from surveillance to Taiwan. His Weibo account is "in a state of being muted” due to a "violation of relevant laws and regulations". Ng has over 7.7 million subscribers on YouTube.
