Unclog jails to mark 75 years of India's Independence: SC to Centre

Unclogging prisons and trial courts could be a perfect way of celebrating 75 years of India's independence, Supreme Court told the central government on Friday. It urged the Centre to work with states and Union Territories to come up with measures where certain categories of undertrials and convicts could be released. "You must think out of the box," SC said.
