UNESCO adds 3 Indian sites to World Heritage Tentative List

UNESCO has added three Indian sites to its World Heritage Tentative List: Baratang's Karst-mud-volcano Complex, Andaman Subduction Volcanoes (Barren and Narcondam islands), and Sirpur Cultural and Archaeological Landscape in Chhattisgarh. The additions bring India's total tentative list properties to 81. Inclusion is a prerequisite for formal World Heritage nomination but does not guarantee designation.
