UNESCO team inspects Virupakshashwara temple, monuments in Hampi

A six-member UNESCO expert team inspected the Virupakshashwara Temple and other historic monuments in Hampi on Monday. The team examined temple structures, crowd management arrangements, tourist facilities and the ancient irrigation system of the Vijayanagara Empire. The experts also visited Mahanavami Dibba, Bala Krishna Temple and historic market areas before meeting officials.
