UNGA adopts pandemic declaration; US, Israel, Argentina vote against

The UN General Assembly adopted a non-binding political declaration on pandemic prevention with 153 votes in favour. Argentina, Israel, and the US voted against; New Zealand and Paraguay abstained. The declaration calls for stronger global cooperation guided by science and equity, and welcomes the WHO Pandemic Agreement.
