UNICEF shared the story behind the viral photograph of 20-year-old Lionel Messi bathing five-month-old Lamine Yamal. The picture appeared in a 2008 calendar created through collaboration involving FC Barcelona, Spanish newspaper Diario Sport and UNICEF. Yamal and his mother met Messi at the fundraising photoshoot after UNICEF selected participating children through a raffle for the calendar.
