Unidentified assailants open fire at Bengaluru govt official

The Bengaluru Police sounded an alert across the city on Friday after two unidentified bike-borne assailants opened fire at a man identified as N Srinivas, president of Agricultural Produce Market Committee. According to reports, the assailants, who had followed Srinivas from his home, fired three shots at his car. The official is undergoing treatment, police officials said.
