Unilever in talks to sell food business to US-based McCormick

Unilever is in talks to sell its food business to US-based spice maker McCormick & Company. Unilever on Friday said McCormick had made an offer, however, both companies said there was no certainty the talks would lead to a deal. Notably, earlier this year, Unilever CEO Fernando Fernández said the company was looking to shift away from food to personal care.
