Union Cabinet approves 3 Railway projects worth ₹7,927 crore

The Union Cabinet approved three multitracking projects of the Indian Railways at a cost of ₹7,927 crore. The projects include Jalgaon-Manmad's fourth line (160 km), Bhusawal-Khandwa's third and fourth lines (131 km) and Prayagraj (Iradatganj)-Manikpur's third line (84 km). The projects will ease operations and reduce congestion on the busiest sections between Mumbai and Prayagraj.
