Union Cabinet approves 41-km long Jaipur Metro Project Phase-2

Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, approved 41 km-long Jaipur Metro Phase-2 from Prahladpura to Todi Mod, comprising 36 stations, at total cost of ₹13,037 crore. The project will be implemented by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a 50:50 joint venture of Union Government and Rajasthan government. The current 11.64 km corridor sees daily ridership of around 60,000 passengers.
