Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Fisheries and Animal Husbandry, George Kurian, has submitted his resignation. "President Droupadi Murmu, as advised by the Prime Minister, has accepted the resignation of George Kurian from the Union Council of Ministers, with immediate effect," Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement on Tuesday. Kurian resigned after his Rajya Sabha term expired.
