Union Minister Giriraj Singh backed 'The Kerala Story 2', stating that the film "shows truth", as it faces legal challenge for allegedly "spreading communal hate". Giriraj said, "Filmmakers and producers have the right to show the truth to the nation. Otherwise, the youth will remain uninformed." This comes after Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan slammed the film for its "false propaganda".
