Union Minister honours 5-yr-old for planting 1,400 saplings in Chandigarh

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured five-year-old Rudransh Upadhyay, son of an Indian Army officer, for planting 1,455 saplings across Panchkula, Chandigarh and Chandimandir Cantonment. He planted the saplings under his own environmental campaign, Rudransh Green Mission and 1,427 of them are still surviving. Chouhan honoured him with a plant sapling and a ₹10,000 cash incentive.
