Union Minister Jadhav recommends Arjuna Award for Mirabai Chanu

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush, Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, has written to Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, urging him to consider weightlifter Mirabai Chanu for this year's Arjuna Award. In his letter, Jadhav highlighted Chanu's achievements. The appeal comes after the 31-year-old won gold at the Commonwealth Games 2026, completing a hat-trick of CWG gold medals.
