Union Minister seeks action plan to rejuvenate B'luru's water bodies

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has asked the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike to submit an action plan on rejuvenating the city's existing water bodies. He visited the Kempambudhi, Gubbalala and Mestripalya lakes as part of the initiative to develop 75 'Amrit Sarovars', under which either old lakes will be improved or new ones will be created in each district of India.
