Union Power Minister Manohar Lal reviews Gorakhpur nuclear project

Union Power Minister Shri Manohar Lal visited the Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana to review the 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors , a nuclear power project by NPCIL. Unit-1 is expected to start in 2031. ₹75 crore has been spent on CSR efforts including infrastructure and healthcare. He praised NPCIL’s outreach like “Atom on Wheels” and stressed nuclear energy’s clean future.
