United Airlines may end JFK airport service if more flights not approved

United Airlines said it will end services to John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) in October if the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) doesn't allow additional flights. In a statement, FAA said it must consider airspace and runway capacity to assess how changes would affect flights at nearby airports. United flies twice daily to San Francisco and Los Angeles from JFK.
