UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson shot dead in US

Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealth's insurance unit, was shot dead on Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in US' Manhattan. A gunman, who investigators said was waiting for some time before Thompson's arrival, opened fire from 20 feet away firing multiple times, striking Thompson. Police said there are no arrests at this time, and investigation is active and ongoing.
