Universe expanding at accelerated rate due to dark energy: Study

A study conducted by a team of researchers said fresh data involving stellar explosion confirmed that the universe is expanding at an accelerated rate. Scientists added that the universe's expansion is accelerating due to an invisible force called dark energy. They added that the universe has been expanding since the Big Bang which took place 13.8 billion years ago.
